Synopsis
Two young provincials go to Moscow to find their sweethearts...
The hero of first novel HIDE-AND-SEEK, SEEK, SEEK... (directed by Alexey Poyarkov) - the officer paratrooper Kostya was deserted by his beloved, who had changed him for a dandy in the capital. The hero is determined, first, to give the offender a blow in his ugly face and then, to return his treasure.
The hero of second novel CROSS AND NOUGHT (directed by Roman Khrushch) - a young provincial graduate of theological seminary Mikhail Myshkin comes to Moscow in search of Jennie, his class-mate, his secret young love, left for Moscow many years ago. However, the girl most likely forgot about her admirer. She is wrapped up in her own problems joined with the life in modern Moscow...
